It has been way too long!

Boy, oh boy. where do I even start? It has been way too long since I have posted anything and things are changing daily. I started school at the beginning of January and have been so busy since then, there is no time for anything else. One of my projects for a class, is this "sacred space" I choose this walkway that Gayle, my good friend, took me to walk the dogs. It is, now, me and Me'sha's favorite place to go! Its a place to just walk and not stress about anything, so the pictures below are from our outings!

Then it snowed and I got some really cool pictures!

My Me'sha Girl!

So, I threw Shane a huge party for his 21st Birthday at our house! Here are some pics! it was too fun, but I think we drank too much! eek!

My mom!
Shane needed a tattoo!
He ended up sleeping on Me'sha's bed!

So, a couple other things we have been up to...Shane was laid off about two weeks ago and has been job hunting/doing odds and ends for my dad and a couple family friends. He has been waiting on orders from the military as it is almost CERTAIN that he will be shipping to Iraq in April. (well he will be in Georgia until July, then to Iraq)...so life has taken its turn and we are taking one day at a time...that's all we can do!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Well, first off, since it is almost Christmas Eve...Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have a great holiday!!
so....Its been snowing and I LOVE IT! We stayed home all weekend, except for outings to the store and up to dad's for a bit. I got some pretty good pictures of Me'sha (who LOVES the snow by the way) and the house!

We are still settling in, but thank goodness the wood stove is in! It has been keeping us nice and toasty!

I made it to work all last week as did Shane but yesterday we both stayed home as we just thought there was TOO much snow :) I enjoyed it! I think we have at least a good 8 inches! Dad had over a foot and Shane's parents have at least a foot and a half. That should be interesting gettin up there on Christmas eve....We will probably have to walk! UGH!

I have to say Shane and I are loving having our OWN place for the first time and for the holidays, its even better! Its fun to do things our own way!

Our First Tree! Ya, its not too big...

Me'sha wants to go play!!

So, its been awhile...

alright, I haven't written in a while. Things have just been crazy! let's see...So, the 14th of November we got the keys to our house and the work began. We painted our kitchen - one wall red, our bedroom - one wall blue, the living room is now green and our bathroom is a tanish color! That took a good week and a half with work and all the other craziness of life. So we finally moved in the day before Thanksgiving... Mom came over and cooked for us and her boyfriend on Thanksgiving while I worked on the many boxes! I wish I would have gotten pictures of that first night! Our living room was absolutely stuffed full of boxes and furniture! I am loving the house and it is slowly getting put together. I have made numerous trips to Ikea trying to find the right curtains! I think I finally got them! Ha Ha! The last room to finish, well besides the guest bath that we don't pay much attention to is our room and bath! ha ha! We bought a new washer and dryer and they are coming on MONDAY! I am so excited! I need to do laundry! Other than that, we are just settling in, got some christmas lights up! and working like crazy! Shane's army christmas lunch-in is tomorrow and that should be fun! along, with my work party/ babyshower for Jamie. I truely know the meaning of the crazy holiday season! hope all is well!

Our house with lights!! So exciting!
